This year, we are running our Sunday morning church school program with the help of volunteer teachers.  We would like to thank Mary Grace Benolich, Liz Morrison, and Cheryl Schneider for their work with our youngest group.  We currently have three children who are participating in the UUA curriculum, “Amazing Grace: Exploring Right and Wrong.”

Though we may not see our teens very often on Sunday mornings, they also have been busy with their UU-based activities.

The OWL group has been meeting at the Sea Tow building every other Sunday evening to finish up the program curriculum.  The Youth Group has been very busy working on college applications and getting together to work on personal essays, as well as continuing their work on Project Bus Stop.  They were invited to, and attended, a joint meeting with state and county legislation about the bus shelters.  A really nice pamphlet of the history of Project Bus Stop was created by the moms of the Youth Group to send as extra info for colleges.

It is great to see that, despite the loss of our beloved buildings and the limitations of our temporary location(s), the children, youth, and their families are still committed to meaningful participation in our church community.
