Support CAST – Support UUS !

For the last four years, we did our traditional mitten tree in “virtual mode” — and it was a tremendous success!  This year, we are continuing this special holiday tradition, both virtually AND IN PERSON!

During this holiday season, there will be a tree, and baskets, in the main gathering space at the meeting house and we invite you to contribute mittens, gloves, hats or scarves to be hung on the tree or added to the baskets.  In the week before Christmas, all of these items will be delivered to CAST.

Once again this year, your donation can have double the impact!  We have a nice selection of hats, gloves and scarves that you may purchase for the tree.  Your cash donation will go to UUS, and the items you purchase will go to CAST.  What a great way to support the church and CAST, together! 

If you would like to purchase some of our winter accessories for CAST, you may give your donation, in person, any Sunday, Dec. 1st – 15th, and select items yourself from our inventory, or we can select them for you.

Or, if you would prefer to make your donation by check, you may mail your donation to the church office.  Please be sure to note “Mitten Tree” on your check or PayPal donation.  We will select items from the inventory and put them on the tree for you.

You may also purchase items at your favorite store and drop them off in the baskets at the meeting house, or deliver them to CAST yourself, if you prefer.
