Summer Happenings

Summer 2025 has been loaded with fun and interesting events.

In June, we held a Soulful Sundown, featuring the musical offerings of Sam Shaffery & Friends; participated in the Pride Parade and Juneteenth celebrations in Greenport; and had the opening reception for our first annual Art in the Summer Show & Sale on June 27th.

The art show continued through July 6th, and on July 8th, we offered a special presentation on “Congressional Guardrails” by former Congresswoman Elizabeth Holtzman.

Rounding out the summer, we hosted a blood drive in honor of Brooks McEwen on August 2nd, and welcomed the 10th Annual Rites of Spring Music Festival into our beautiful new building, with three concert pianists delighting a very appreciative, and full, audience with their musical gifts.  We will end the month with a labyrinth walk, led by Rev. Valerie, at the Presbyterian Church on Main Road.

Be ready for special events coming in September – the All-Congregation Retreat on September 13th and a concert with the popular string band, The Mudflats, on September 21st.
