After applying for a grant from ReWild Long Island, a non-profit group that supports native plantings in landscape design, some members of the Building Team met with them. We can report that ReWild has agreed to help us in our contemplative garden which will stand on the footprint of the old church.

Interior work continues, with the staircase to the attic storage complete, electrical outlets installed, and primer applied to the interior sheetrock. The BT will be choosing interior finish colors for the main meeting room, kitchen and hallways, as well as beginning to gather the various furnishings we’ll need:  tables, chairs, office furniture, etc.
