The annual fund drive to fulfill our commitment to the New York State Unitarian Universalist Advocacy Network will be held this August thru October. Our member contribution is 1% of our 2025-26 operating budget.  Your action is needed on the Medical Aid in Dying Act (also called the Death with Dignity act) ( A136 forward\ S138). The bill has passed both the NY state Assembly and the Senate. Please express your opinion of this act to Governor Kathy Hochul. You can use the fill-in form at the website< governor.ny.gov>.

Ongoing actions on behalf of the following allies: C.A.S.T. always needs non perishable staples and personal care items; En Mi Camino (“On My Way”) accepts donations of new or gently used shoes and needs children’s shoes primarily.  We will again have a Reduce, Reuse, Recycle table at North Fork Environmental Council’s Repair Café on September 13. Start bringing in your unused paper goods: greeting cards, bows, wrapping paper, gift bags, note cards, notebooks, writing paper, envelopes, boxes, calendars etc.  Donations for all the above organizations can be brought to church anytime you come.
