Mark Haubner, President of North Fork Environmental Council, is offering a 6-week workshop series on Nature-based Solutions (NbS).  We hope you will join us for one or more of these informative, action-oriented programs.  Admission is Free.  The workshops may also be viewed live on YouTube, or you may join via Zoom (contact Office@NFEC1.org for Zoom link).

The second workshop is on Bioregioning.  Bioregioning is the ethos and action involved with living in a place and working with its natural systems. By asserting our personal agency and responsibility, we can become stewards of the air, water and soil, and become the good ancestors we need to be.

By uncovering the qualities and boundaries of your own bioregion, your understanding of your local geography and biophysical surroundings will help you identify high impact points of various Nature-based Solutions and you will be able to assess where to best apply your time and efforts.
